Which trim should I choose?

The S trim is the most basic of the Ford Focus with features such as power locks and mirrors, MyKey, power front windows, a height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, air-conditioning, voice controls, Bluetooth, and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. The SE trim adds to the S trim with power rear windows, cruise control, a front center armrest, a trip computer, and rear air vents. The SE trim has the option to add a Cold Weather package and an Appearance package. The SEL trim has standard equipment like rear proximity sensors, ambient interior lighting, a sunroof, foglights, daytime running lights, two USB ports, an 8-inch entertainment screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, and the option to add the Cold Weather package. Next is the Titanium trim with leather-trimmed seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, a leather-wrapped shift knob, four-way adjustable headrest, a remote start, and seatback pockets. The Cold Weather package comes standard on this trim and a Titanium Technology package is made available. The final trim is the Electric and has similar features to the Titanium, but includes xenon headlights, restyled taillights, and an electric motor.

What type of horsepower is available?

The Ford Focus uses a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine with 160 horsepower for most trim levels. This engine can be paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Many other engine options remain available. The 1-liter turbocharged inline-3 provides 123 horsepower and an EPA fuel economy rating of 40 miles per gallon. A 2-liter turbocharged inline-4 is available with 252 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. A 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-4 is also available. This engine provides 350 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.

Can I add more safety features to the current standard ones?

The Ford Focus prioritizes safety with its long list of standard safety and security features. Some of these features would be a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system with an extra tire, LATCH, a personal safety system for driver and front passenger, a belt-minder, advancetrac electronic stability control, power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, three-point shoulder and lap safety belt system, and a four-wheel anti-lock brake system. Additional safety and security features can be added as standalone options or through the add-on of a package.
