What’s new in 2019 for the Ford Fusion?
The Ford Fusion is a great eye-catching midsize sedan. You can find this vehicle as is or with a hybrid plug-in engine for an even greater fuel economy. In 2019, this sedan will come with an entirely new design for a sleeker front and rear, an all-new set of wheels, a completely new lineup of colors for both the exterior paint and the interior stylings, and a lineup that makes finding your perfect vehicle easier than ever before. Quite a few features have also been made standard across the board as well. Some of these features would include a luxurious advanced navigation system and an adaptive cruise control with an automated stop and go feature.
What truly makes this 2019 Ford Fusion so special?
This vehicle will be the first ever Ford, to be released all over the world, to have a standard all-new Co-Pilot360! This will have the most advanced technologies in driver-assistance available today. This system comes packed full with a rear backup camera, automatic high-beams, lane keeping assistance, an automatic emergency brake with pedestrian detection, and a blind spot information system. This new technology will be a main focus at the New York Auto Show for its public debut. Ford’s main goal with the Fusion is to promote an overall safer and easier driving experience. The Ford Co-Pilot360 can also be added to with the Assist package which will add voice-activated navigation, and a SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link. These features can be found standard on the upper trim levels.
What does each trim level offer for features?
The Fusion is available in the following trim levels: S, SE, SEL, Titanium, and Sport. The SE, SEL, and Titanium are available as hybrids, and the Titanium can also be found as an Energi model for even more fuel efficiency. The S trim will come with all the standard features including the Co-Pilot360, the advanced navigation system, and the adaptive cruise control. The SE will have an additional 8-inch LCD touchscreen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control. The SEL trim then place on top of all this, features like a 10-way power driver’s seat with two memory settings, heated front seats, intelligent access with remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, the voice-activated navigation, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Titanium then comes with 19-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, rear inflatable seat belts, a moonroof, and heated and ventilated seats. The Energi Titanium trim adds a 20 percent increase to the electric driving range as well. Topping it off is the Sport trim. This trim doesn’t add much for features but it soars with a class-leading high of 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
